Mission and Vision

I gave the following questions to the ad board at LeValley a couple weeks ago for each of them to ponder. Berlin Center did not meet this month, so they haven’t received them yet. Because the mission and vision for both churches are going to be developed, I believe it is important to have the congregations included in the planning process. I know you will be unable to answer every question, but by compiling responses to many of them, we will have made some progress and will be able to move forward. As I have stated previously, the current mission statement for both Berlin Center and LeValley,

To transform the world by reaching out to people in Jesus’ name and developing them into mature followers of Jesus Christ, was established over 20 years ago. Things have definitely changed and, even though both churches have the same pastor, they most definitely need to have their own mission and vision.

Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.  Ephesians 2:20-22(ESV)  Be in Prayer.

Love in Christ,
Pastor Nancy
