SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

heart

The Missions Committee sends care boxes to soldiers who are stationed overseas.  If you know of someone who is currently overseas and would like to have a box sent to them, please call Linda Seelhoff at 616-527-3914 or email seelhoff@sbcglobal.net with the below requested information:

  • First and Last Name
  • Address: (number, street, etc.)
  • City: (typically an APO)
  • State/Province: (typically an AE or AF)

You can help with supporting our troops by . . .

  • Providing some of the items listed below
  • Make a monetary donation (to purchase items or to help with shipping costs)

  • Chap stick, shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, toothpaste, toothbrush and soap
  • Hand wipes (must be Alcohol Free) and no hand sanitizers or baby wipes
  • Valentines (can be hand-made) and/or greeting card(s) or personal letter(s)

  • Puzzle books such as; crossword, sudoku and word search

*Holidays are especially hard on our Service Personnel. Missing loved ones back home is significant and lonely. Such Holidays as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines and Easter bring a huge and emotional toil on families with loved ones serving, and with those serving.  You can help to make that time a little easier to endure with a 'Care Package'!  Please make sure you donate any items for a care package well in advance (at least 2 months) of the upcoming Holiday, as package/mailing of care packages need EXTRA traveling time in order to arrive in time for the upcoming Holiday.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS OVERSEAS!
